Join us for a reading with award-winning writer and journalist Aatish Taseer.

Aatish Taseer (India) is the author of Stranger to History: a son’s journey through Islamic lands, a Costa-shortlisted first novel, The Temple-goers, and the highly acclaimed Noon. He has written for The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times and The Sunday Times, London. He has also been a contributing opinion writer for The International New York Times since 2015. He is most recently the author of The Way Things Were (finalist 2016 Jan Michalski Prize), which The Los Angeles Review of Books described as ‘the best Indian novel of the last decade.’ His work has been translated into over a dozen languages. He lives between New Delhi and New York. His new book The Twice-Born (Farrar, Straus and Giroux) is forthcoming.
