Join us for an evening of jazz with Lou Stellute & Friends.

Lou Stellute & Friends will perform an eclectic mix of true, improvisational jazz. The music will be taken from the entire genre of the jazz spectrum. It will be a mix of free improvisations and a reworking of certain classic jazz standards.

Pittsburgh Jazz Hall of Fame inductee Lou Stellute (tenor sax, soprano sax, and flute) has been performing internationally, composing for films and recording music for nearly 60 years. He is known for his big sound, versatility and animated playing. In 2005, he received the Pittsburgh Players Choice award. Lou has worked in many legendary, national jazz clubs such as the Blue Note, Village Vanguard, Bohemian Caverns, the Hurricane, the Crawford Grill, Lenny’s on the Turnpike, and the Key Club. Currently, he is in Roger Humphries’ RH Factor and also in Opek.
