Join us for an evening of jazz with The Bridge.

The Bridge is an French-based international program that fosters new creative collaborations between European and U.S. jazz musicians. Since 2013, The Bridge has organized 24 tours, allowing 70 French and North-American musicians to perform together on both sides of the Atlantic.

The Bridge is not just a concert, but an adventure for listener and musician alike. Musicians are brought together for an international concert series that challenges them to discover new sounds, often combining classical music and cutting edge jazz, both old world and new world sensibilities.

This iteration of the Bridge ensemble–featuring Fred Jackson Jr. (sax), Jason Stein (bass clarinet), Didier Petit (cello), and Edward Perraud (drums)–is composed of French and American musicians playing together for the very first time, right here on the Alphabet City stage.

Featured Musicians:

Josh Berman– cornet
Jason Stein– bass clarinet
Didier Petit– cello
Edward Perraud– drums
