The Pittsburgh Fringe Festival presents a full day of theatrical experiences here at City of Asylum!
About the Pittsburgh Fringe Festival:
Fringes are unjuried theatre festivals featuring mostly performance art – from traditional theatre to puppetry to spoken word. The first Fringe started in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1947, and has grown into one of the biggest arts festivals in the world. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Pittsburgh Fringe Festival supports adventurous and exploratory performing artists, in the Fringe tradtion, by showcasing their unjuried artistic expression in a professional environment to equally as adventurous audiences and opportunities.
