The Corridor Free Day @ City of Asylum BookstoreThursday, September 30, 2021 @ 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
The Corridor is a place-making initiative that focuses on the approximate one-mile passage from the Mattress Factory to The Andy Warhol Museum. Current partners include Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh; Mattress Factory; The Andy Warhol Museum; City of Asylum; the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy; and the National Aviary.
On September 30, The Corridor announces the official project launch. The Corridor museums and cultural institutions will be FREE to the public, with various drop-in activities throughout the Northside.
City of Asylum celebrates Corridor Day with all-day activities in our bookstore!
Activities include raffles, “blind-date with a book,” and book bingo. Plus free drop in storytelling for kids at 11am, 1:30pm, and 4pm. Stop by for a fun afternoon, and check out free activities at the Northside locations by visiting The Corridor website landing page.
Full day activities run through 10 AM – 6 PM. Check the landing page (above) to confirm hours and specific times.
With thanks to generous support from the Allegheny County Regional Asset District, The Corridor Partners work to build stronger relationships between our institutions and our neighboring communities.
